A SMALL PHYSICS BUILDING GAME

BLOCKER

BUILD. BALANCE. LET GO.

Here are some blocks.
See how far they take you.

01 / THE GAME

Small pieces.
Big ideas.

A quiet room. Warm wood. Real gravity.

Stack simple wooden blocks into something taller than you thought possible. Take your time. Find the balance. And when it all comes down, enjoy the moment.

Stack a tower, interpret a landmark, connect a wooden railway, fold colourful magnetic tiles, build a marble run or race a drifting slot car. Six ways to build at your own pace. The latest Windows playtest includes all six; Mac is an earlier Tower preview.

Start again. A little higher, perhaps.

01

Build up.

Tower mode measures your best stable height. Find the balance, then enjoy the fall.

02

Make it your own.

Creative mode offers landmark silhouettes. Follow an arch, cathedral or Eiffel Tower, or find your own interpretation.

03

Connect something.

Snap together wooden tracks and send a little train along them. Join transparent magnetic tiles into colourful shapes, guide real rolling marbles through a modular run, or build a slot circuit and learn to dose the throttle.

LESS TO DO. MORE TO FEEL.

A little space
to slow down.

Sunlight across the floor. The grain of a small wooden piece. A soft tap as it settles into place.

Blocker is an ASMR-inspired, meditative desk toy: quiet concentration, a little tension, then the satisfying clatter of letting go. Headphones welcome.

The leaderboard loads when you reach this section.

Your height. Your name.

Online rounds can join the shared board. The game uses an anonymous device identity; no email or account form is required. Your chosen nickname, best result and its saved tower are public. Select a saved entry in the game's Global Highscores to explore the tower.

Keep it playful.

These are casual, client-reported scores. Height decides the rank; build time is shown for interest. Offline rounds and local records stay on your device.

This page only reads the public top ten. It does not sign you in, create a player identity or submit a score.

04 / YOUR TURN

MAGNETIC LONG-EDGE ANCHORS · 05 OCT 2026

  1. Extract the entire ZIP into its own folder.
  2. Windows: launch Blocker.exe. Mac: open Blocker.app.
  3. Choose a building world from the main menu (Mac: TOWER).

Windows modes: Creative — choose the Triumphal Arch, Cologne Cathedral or Eiffel Tower; G shows/hides the silhouette, B changes it, and Escape → Done rates coverage and building outside the guide. Wooden Railway — hold V or middle mouse, move toward a piece and release to select. Controller: hold LT, choose with the right stick and release LT. All pieces are directly accessible; center release keeps the current piece. Tab also cycles short, standard and long straights (7.5 / 15 / 30 cm), 45° curves, ramps and left/right switches. Wheel selects a piece, R gives eight starting rotations, Shift + wheel changes the entry end, Ctrl + wheel reverses the grooved faces, Shift + F sets the aimed switch, T runs the train and holding C physically pulls the connected track. Raised track receives wooden supports; incompatible loop closures are refused. Matching same-gender ends receive a coloured 2 cm adapter automatically. Each rail remains a physical piece with a visible gap and about 5° of angular play. Magnetic Tiles — the same divided part wheel with 3D previews or Tab chooses six shapes: a square, equilateral triangle, tall/wide isosceles triangles, a half-square rectangle (15 × 7.5 cm) and a large base plate (30 × 30 cm). The plate has twice the square side length and four times its area. Both new shapes retain 15 mm thickness, physical mass, embedded magnets and saved connections. Tab chooses a piece; Q chooses its own edge or attachment position. Wheel changes floor yaw or the available horizontal/vertical attachment poses. Shift + wheel chooses the target edge, and Ctrl + wheel / R also offers poses braced by existing tiles or the floor. New attachments prefer an upright perpendicular pose. Long triangle legs each offer two adjacent standard-tile anchors while retaining three shifted magnets. Aim at either half or use Shift + wheel to choose its anchor. Each physical edge allows up to three neighbours; matching wall corners connect automatically, and building can continue above a closed cuboid lid. Invalid below-floor previews stay visible above the floor and cannot be placed. F selects an existing tile without removing it; click confirms its new pose, Escape cancels, and Shift + F removes it. Ctrl + Q lowers the view in this mode. Small magnetic loads hold; unsupported arms fold under gravity and overloaded links can release. Floor tiles can connect flat along their open edges. Thick 15 mm rims at a 15 cm square edge, clearer acrylic faces, denser polished rims at oblique angles, fine handling scratches, internal ribs and embedded edge magnets catch the light. Sunlight through a tile colours the floor using a restrained dynamic transmission approximation. Flexible or unequal-edge matches are marked amber. Marble Run adds nine translucent pieces: feet, two tube lengths, a funnel, straight and curved chutes, a spiral bowl, an unpowered paddle wheel and a catch cup. Wheel / Tab chooses a piece; Shift + wheel changes its socket and R rotates by 45 degrees. F removes a piece. Open lower sockets project blue rings onto the floor to guide a second support tower. C / held right stick physically grips and moves the connected build; C + wheel lifts or lowers it. Release to put it down. Upright counterpart sockets are chosen automatically when needed, so pipes and feet can be added below a chute. Controller socket choice is held left stick + LB/RB. T drops a 16 mm ball into the aimed entrance; Shift + T clears balls. Hollow 24 mm passages carry real rolling spheres; unsupported parts can fall and overloaded connectors can release. The 15 cm grid matches magnetic squares; magnetic pipe adapters are planned for later. Slot Racing adds two front-guided physical cars on separate recessed lanes with freely drifting rears, red/white curve kerbs and seven road pieces. Begin with Power & Start or press G in an empty world for a starter oval. T takes or puts down both hand controllers. LMB / LT drives the teal car; RMB / RT drives the orange car independently. The wheel adjusts mouse power. T does not reset an existing car. Too much speed can throw the car off the track. Aim at the car and press F to pick it up, then aim at a powered road and click to return it to its own lane. Roads have visible gaps and raised sections receive physical supports. Each world saves separately on exit; Continue returns to that world. The combined world is still to come.

Mouse + keyboard and controller supported. Local records work offline. Optional online scores use an anonymous device identity and a chosen name. F1 hides the full interface and cursor block for screenshots. Outside Magnetic Tiles, Q / Y lowers or raises your view through Crawl, Crouch, Stand and Reach, one crate height per step. F picks up or swaps a wooden block. E has no gameplay action. Crate pickup is paused while these height modes are tried. For wooden blocks, R changes orientation and clears placement offsets. Hold Shift to walk faster. Auto text contrast waits for sustained lighting changes and fades gently between light and dark. The rear doorway reveals a small, non-enterable stairwell. When all 100 blocks are in one settled tower, the round ends automatically. At empty supply, blue outlines help you find remaining loose blocks. Edge stacks settle more calmly and the panorama seam is corrected. Collapse playback waits for the falling parts to settle, with gentle slow motion and a Fast Forward button (Space / Enter / controller A). Wood changes apply consistently to existing blocks and result towers. Live Height is the current construction, Stable Best is its confirmed peak, and Object Height refers to the comparison object. Height hints follow your eye level, and Continue restores your selected stance. The result screen keeps your tower in view, with This Run on the left and Your Best beside the compact leaderboard. Retry starts a fresh round. Hover over your main-menu username or pencil for a highlight; click to edit your name. Tower autosaves on exit; choose Continue to return to your build. Wood, wall and floor finishes are in Settings > World. Continued rounds keep local records; new online scores currently require a fresh round.

MADE WITH CURIOSITY

A small experiment.

Blocker is a physics-building prototype by Powered By Pixels, developed with AI assistance.

AI tools assist with code and asset creation. Some 3D models and textures are AI-generated. Concept illustrations show the intended mood and are labelled separately from real prototype captures.

The Windows playtest includes Tower, Creative landmark studies, Wooden Railway, Magnetic Tiles, Marble Run and Slot Racing. The new kits are early prototypes; a combined world is planned. Mac remains an earlier Tower-only preview.
